Signature breakfast beans

  1. Fry onions
  2. Add garlic and ginger then fry for a minute
  3. Add tomatoes and mushrooms and fry until soft
  4. Add the tomato paste with spices and continue to cook for another minute
  5. Add the beans and simmer until desired level of thickness
  6. (optional) Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice for added flavour
  7. Serve with toast or as a burrito
